common routes<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the project is to highlight the importance of a shared history in the border region, improve the attractiveness of the area and attract tourists by creating new or expanding existing tourist routes and spreading information about the common historical and natural heritage on both sides of the cross-border region. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the project, construction works will be carried out consisting of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">construction of a bicycle path in Stare Juchy <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">revitalization and adaptation of the square for cyclists and pedestrians. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the project implementation, both Stare Juchy and Bir\u015dtonas will create an information system for the presentation of historical and natural heritage and will create tourist routes on both sides of the border. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The map of the tourist route developed as part of the project will be available in both paper and electronic versions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project participants will have the opportunity to participate in woodcarving workshops and an event where historical and cultural heritage will be presented. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The project implementation period is April 1, 2020. &#8211; March 31, 2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Project value EUR 666,017.17, including EU funding of EUR 566,114.57. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The eligible expenditure of the project is EUR 666,017.17.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The project is implemented by: Bir\u0161tonas Town, Stare Juchy Commune, E\u0142k Forest District. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Project number LT-PL-4R-293<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>As part of the project, it is planned to achieve the following product and result indicators:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Indicators:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of tourists accommodated in the cross-border area &#8211; positive. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share of institutions benefiting from cross-border cooperation &#8211; positive.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of developed or adapted cultural heritage sites &#8211; 2. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of joint tourist routes developed &#8211; 1.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of promoted objects of natural and cultural heritage and related products &#8211;
